Read Philippians 4: 8-9
What do you think is the most precious thing we have? I don’t know your answer, but for me the most precious thing I have is LIFE. It is the most gracious thing we have. Hence, it must be spent certainly for something worthwhile. Evaluate how you spend your life daily. Happiness, joy and peace are products of the pursuit of God and His righteousness. A life spent outside God is emptiness; it is full of disappointments and ultimately death. Living without God’s plan for our life, is like sewing with a needle that has no thread or writing one’s life history with a pen empty of ink. It’s absolutely a waste of energy.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4: 8-9
PRAYER: God help me to know and understand the fact that happiness is never found in the pursuit of happiness, life is not found in the pursuit of life, but rather they are both products of a life spent and found in a pursuit of God and His righteousness.
